Teal Inzunza, LCSW

Staff Therapist

She/Her

Teal is a compassionate and client-centered therapist with nearly 15 years of experience working in the fields of domestic violence, economic justice, and broader violence intervention. She received her Master’s in Social Work from Fordham University and holds training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and trauma-informed care.

Teal has spent much of her career supporting LGBTQ survivors and brings a deep commitment to creating an affirming, nonjudgmental space for healing. She specializes in working with clients navigating trauma, depression, anxiety, OCD, addiction, dissociation, grief, identity exploration, relationship challenges, self-esteem, and the complex ways oppression can shape our mental health and lived experiences.

Her therapeutic approach is collaborative and grounded in supportive psychotherapy. Teal draws from multiple modalities, including IFS, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), harm reduction, among various other modalities.

Teal shows up to this work with care, humility, and a deep respect for her clients’ experiences. She understands that starting therapy can feel vulnerable, and she works to build a space where people feel safe, seen, and supported—where they can move at their own pace and be met exactly where they are.
