Savannah is an advanced clinical intern currently pursuing their MSW at Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College. Savannah is a Black, queer clinician committed to a practice guided by trauma-informed, liberation-based, pleasure-centric care. It can be daunting to learn about ourselves alone. Sometimes it helps to have someone walk alongside us as we make meaning of the complexity of our lives. Savannah strives to create a therapeutic environment that feels safe, affirming, and deeply collaborative. Essential to their therapy style is the belief that everyone has the right to heal.

Savannah integrates a combination of modalities including strengths-based, relational, mindfulness, and Black feminist principles to support clients on the journey to becoming their most authentic selves and finding a greater sense of fulfillment. They have worked with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, emerging adulthood, life transitions, relationship concerns, career changes, family dynamics, self-esteem, loneliness, and identity exploration.

Before training as a psychotherapist, Savannah spent nearly a decade working in nonprofit tech and earned her Bachelor’s in Anthropology and African-American Studies from Wesleyan University. Nature, spirituality, movement, art, and community care ground Savannah’s practice.
