Staff Therapist

She/Her

I hold a strong commitment to using holistic approaches to healing. Through my extensive clinical work with trauma survivors and background working with young people, I know that talk therapy is not always the most effective method for processing and healing from trauma. I employ therapeutic techniques from Trauma-based Cognitive Processing Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and somatic modalities to support my clients. As a published author, I often incorporate creative modalities into my therapeutic practice such as creative writing activities, drawing, and clay. Let's work together to figure out which methods work best for you.

I am a Black queer therapist who specializes in working with BIPOC and QT clients, creative artists, community organizers, and activists. I believe in addressing systemic oppressions such as poverty, transphobia, and racism. I have experience treating depression, anxiety, complex trauma and PTSD and supporting survivors of violence, abuse, and poverty.

The goals of my practice are to help you process painful experiences in order to begin the healing process, strengthen your own curiosity and self-compassion, improve insight, self-awareness, self-confidence, and self-love, identify and strengthen tools for coping, and find moments for joy and pleasure.
