Robert McVey is Clinical Coordinator and a Senior Staff Therapist at IHI, with a Certificate in Field Instruction. In 2014 he was awarded a fellowship in psychoanalysis from the NYU School of Medicine. He joined IHI as a Staff Therapist in June, 2003. Robert maintains a private practice in Manhattan. He was educated at Sarah Lawrence College, Harvard University, and New York University. Robert is also an author, and his book of short stories was nominated for a Lambda Award. His new novel is ready for publication.
