Advanced Clinical Intern

she/her

Hossannah (she/her), a queer Filipina immigrant, combines narrative, culturally-responsive, and anti-oppressive methods in her therapy practice. She is dedicated to creating a trusting, non-judgmental, and collaborative space for clients to work through personal challenges, whether related to relationships, self-esteem, or feeling "stuck." Her approach involves helping clients identify and address underlying patterns and core issues, thereby reshaping their narratives to better align with their aspirations and well-being.

Passionate about serving individuals and couples from BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities, Hossannah offers support across a spectrum of concerns, including depression, grief, relational difficulties, and adjustment issues. Her work also delves into areas like intergenerational trauma and imposter syndrome.

Holding an MFA in Creative Writing from Sarah Lawrence College, Hossannah infuses her therapy with literary insights. She is currently enhancing her expertise by pursuing a Mental Health Counseling degree from Hunter College.
