Eliza Moss-Horwitz, LMSW

Staff Therapist

She/Her

Eliza’s goal is to create a warm, nonjudgemental, and supportive space for clients to get to know themselves more deeply. She aims to create collaborative therapeutic relationships that support clients in moving towards more fulfilled and supported lives.

Eliza takes a relational, strengths-based, and psychodynamic approach, focused on exploring the ways that past experiences show up in the here and now. Eliza draws from parts work to support clients in compassionately exploring the different parts of themselves. As a queer therapist, she is especially passionate about creating a supportive space for LGBTQIA+ individuals to explore identity, relationships, gender, sex, and sexuality.

Eliza has previously worked in alternative to incarceration programs, supporting young adults affected by interpersonal and systemic violence. She has also worked as a social worker in public schools, community centers, and theaters. Eliza holds a BA in Religion from Barnard College and a Master’s of Social Work from Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College.
