Diana Fiumara, LMSW
Staff Therapist
She/Her
Diana (she/her) identifies within the queer community and takes pride in supporting others within it. She holds a Master of Social Work and is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), with a background in social justice education.
Diana believes that healing happens through connection, curiosity, and compassion — especially during seasons of life that feel heavy, uncertain, or disconnected. Her work centers on helping people feel more connected to themselves and to the world around them, and on supporting clients in building lives that feel aligned, grounded, and meaningful. She brings warmth, energy, and genuine curiosity into the room, creating a collaborative and nonjudgmental space where clients can deepen self-understanding, recognize their inherent strengths, and cultivate lasting self-worth.
Her approach is integrative and individualized, drawing from DBT, CBT, psychodynamic and narrative therapies, mindfulness practices, and harm reduction. When helpful, she incorporates nature-based and creative elements into the work. Diana enjoys helping clients set small, realistic goals that build momentum toward meaningful change, particularly around boundaries, self-advocacy, reducing guilt and over-responsibility in relationships, and breaking unhelpful cycles.
She has a special interest in supporting LGBTQIA+ adults navigating anxiety, OCD, trauma-related behaviors, and identity exploration. She also works well with individuals who are highly attuned to others, tend to prioritize others’ needs, or struggle to take up space for themselves. Diana warmly welcomes atheist and non-religious clients and values collaborative meaning-making that honors each person’s belief system.
Outside of therapy, Diana enjoys live music, dancing, camping, hiking, yoga, and spending time with her lab.
