Staff Therapist

He/Him

Josh is a Native New Yorker who spent a few years after undergrad in the fashion industry. He is devoted to helping individuals define, identify, and overcome obstacles that may impede connections with the self and others. As a psychodynamic therapist, he is interested in hearing about past experiences and where patterns occur in a client’s life. Coming from a Relational-Cultural and Feminist lens, he believes that cultivating a strong therapeutic relationship is at the utmost importance in order to provide a safe environment for them to build upon their own narrative.

Josh has experience working with anxiety, depression, personality disorders, trauma, and relational dynamics. He also has extensive training in LGBTQ+ affirmative therapy and issues related to: immigration issues, family abuse/neglect, addiction, substance abuse, disabilities, racial identity, sexuality, and gender identity.
