Staff Therapist

She/Her

Gabrielle is a licensed social worker who is passionate about working with clients from an abolitionist and trauma-informed perspective, recognizing that an individual’s choices and experiences are a result of the systems and power structures they were raised within. Gabrielle tailors her therapeutic approach to the needs of her client, with an emphasis on talk therapy, art therapy, and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT). Gabrielle believes that advocacy and the creation of safe and trusting spaces are the key to a successful therapeutic alliance. She is especially passionate about working with survivors of intimate partner and sexual violence, neurodivergent people, and individuals impacted by oppressive systems.

Gabrielle received her Masters in Clinical Social Work from Columbia University and a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Painting with a minor in Psychology from Temple University. She is also employed as a therapist at a Non-Secure Placement for incarcerated adolescents. Gabrielle’s favorite pastime is making political illustrations and walking her dog, Nasty.
