Furness Norton holds a Bachelor of Science from Brooklyn College and returned to receive his Master in Mental Health Counseling. He has experience working with diverse populations with issues, including substance abuse, LGBTQ+ challenges, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and self-esteem. He strongly believes in the importance of a therapeutic relationship built on mutual trust, agency, and collaboration.

Furness utilizes an eclectic approach that includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness based therapy, and Psychodynamic theory. One of his goals is providing a safe and welcoming environment in which clients can explore upcoming issues and how they can navigate their emotional needs in their day-to-day life.
