Amos Wolff, M.S., LMFT

Clinical Supervisor, Staff Therapist

He/Him

After a decade long career as an actor, Amos refocused his passion for storytelling to be of service to individuals, couples and families on their quest to reconcile relationships and explore identity. As a trained couples and family therapist, Amos believes that our reality is constructed by past, present and future relationships. Utilizing a multi-cultural, social justice-informed practice, the collaborative work of therapy can foster consistency and empowerment in relationships – both with yourself, and others. Guided introspection leading to actionable connections is a tonic in an increasingly isolating, and volatile world. Amos will strive to meet you as you are, and meaningfully deconstruct aspects of your life which may be constricting your potential to celebrate the richness of your humanity.

He is proficient in working within a variety of affirming frameworks including LGBTQ+ sex and intimacy issues in non-monogamous or alternative relationship structures. Managing negative consequences associated with drug use through a harm reduction paradigm, and utilizing grounding and mindfulness practices to heal past trauma.

Amos’s training includes a B.F.A. in Musical Theater from The University of Michigan, and a M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Mercy College, in addition to a 200-hour yoga certification. He is currently in the process of pursuing certification as a sex therapist through the American Association of Sex Educations, Clinicians and Therapists (AASECT).
